Today in reading students wrote a summary for the article Goodbye, Bullies found in Time for Kids. Students had previously read the article and filled out the Vocabulary Organizer. Today I showed an example of how I used what I filled out on the Vocabulary Organizer to write a 3-5 sentence summary.
In social studies, students have been exploring the materials from the Nystrom kit. After testing on chapter one from the social studies textbook, the next until will be unit one from Nystrom which focuses on maps and globes.
