Hopefully, everyone had a relaxing Presidents' Day! This past week in writing, students wrote a persuasive essay about why they should be president. After reading a book about presidents, the class filled out an OREO graphic organizer and another persuasive essay organizer. Once the organizer was checked by a teacher, they used their persuasive essay checklist as a guide and began writing the five paragraph essay.
Once, the essay was completed it was on to the craft!
