Memorial Day Celebration

On Friday, May 25th Stony Brook held it's annual Memorial Day Celebration.  In the morning all the classes met in front of the school to listen to speakers, the chorus, the band, and watched the flag being folded, and a new flag go up.

After writing letters to our soldiers and eating ice pops, we are all so excited to hear Catherine read a Memorial Day poem over the loud speaker that she wrote after last year's Memorial Day Celebration.  The students all waited anxiously by the door to congratulate her.  Boy, am I going to miss this class!!!!
